So I spent my weekend at Ohayocon, the anime convention up at the convention center here in Columbus, and when I was up in artist ally I saw this

Which is a collage to make up this woman, and that is what has inspired me to create creatures or people, not sure yet, of a collage of recycled materials, like we all essentially are.
My second inspiration was at a table in the anime convention was a book of Italian-pop surrealism and in doing research in that, I found the artist Paolo Petrangeli and was particularly drawn to this image
I hope to pull from both these inspirations to create my own collaged people/things.
